2010台北国际花卉博览会梦想馆二厅2010 Taibei International Flora Expo, the Second Hall

There are four halls of the International Flora Expo, every hall has its unique expressional theme, but they all focus on one story - to make people immerse in such beautiful scene and nature world. ‘Walking into the flora world' is the direct theme at the very beginning, the designer changes the second hall into a maze of flora and the guests could imagine themselves as the insects which walking into a world of flora, and harmoniously living with this flora. When we planned to design this maze, the first image we came up with is phalaenopsis orchid from Taiwan. Taiwan is not only the kingdom of phalaenopsis orchid export, but also the universal leader of phalaenopsis orchid producing area. Under the green and thick leaf of phalaenopsis orchid, the flowers look like butterflies, the delicate and elegant curves of these flowers become the original version of the exhibition area.

花博会梦想馆共计有四厅，每一个厅都有单独的表现主题，但都环绕在一个故事轴之上，就是让观众能近身感触到天地之美，走入与万物共生共荣、生生不息的大世界。“让观众走入花朵的世界”是设计初始的直观式破题，将二厅打造为花卉迷宫，观众在此幻化成一只昆虫走入花卉、看见自己变身成昆虫的剪影、帮助花蕊授粉与环境共生的故事架构。在决定该迷宫的空间造型之际，立即浮出脑海的就是台湾的蝴蝶兰。台湾不只是蝴蝶兰的外销王国，台湾的蝴蝶兰品种也带领全球流行的风潮。蝴蝶兰在翠绿肥厚的叶片衬托下，一朵朵宛如蝴蝶般的花，其天生的典雅有韵致的曲线，变成了展览厅空间造型与布局的蓝本。
