IUE

The Institute of Urban Environment（IUE）of the Chinese Academy of Sciences（CAS）was established on 4 July, 2006. IUE-CAS is a national research institute engaged in comprehensive studies on the world's urban environment. IUE is a multidisciplinary research institute engaged in fundamental and applied research on the cutting edge of environmental and resource sciences, as well as the development of new technologies for environmental remediation and waste management, which encompasses the impacts of urbanisation on ecosystems and the social economy.
