4.4　Equipment Layout

4.4.1　Coagulation，clarification（sedimentation）equipment and filtration equipment should be arranged outdoor，and should be arranged indoor in cold regions.

4.4.2　For clarification tanks（clarifiers）arranged outdoor，a shed or canopy can be provided according to local conditions.

4.4.3　Adjacent clarification equipment should have a connecting passage at the top，for which protection railing shall be provided.The filtration pool should be provided with a service ladder，with protection railing at the top.Water tanks（pools）shall be provided with protection railing at the top.

4.4.4　Ultra（micro）filtration units shall be arranged indoor，with space reserved for replacement of membrane.

4.4.5　Submerged ultra（micro）filtration membrane assemblies should be arranged in separate rooms，provided with lifting facilities for service，and space for maintenance of membrane assemblies shall be provided.Ventilation facilities shall be provided indoor.

4.4.6　Submerged ultra（micro）filtration membrane tanks shall be provided with maintenance passages and movable covers at the top.

4.4.7　The degassing unit after dosing acid for multi-stage flash desalination unit should be arranged outdoor，and necessary passages and protection railing shall be provided.
