5.5　Air Cooler Piping

5.5.1　Inlet piping to air cooler shall be designed to avoid any liquid pocket.

If no flow control valves are installed in piping，the inlet piping should be symmetrical.For liquidvapor phase fluid service，inlet and outlet piping shall be symmetrical.

5.5.2　Forces and moments imposed on air cooler nozzle by piping shall comply with the manufacturer's requirements or GB/T 15386.

5.5.3　Air cooler inlet and outlet manifolds shall be arranged near to air cooler nozzles，and the crosssectional area of manifold should be 1.5 times the total cross-sectional area of all branch pipes.
