3　Terms

The following terms and definitions shall be applied for this Standard.

3.0.1　Absorber

It is the major single component in wet flue gas desulfurization process，removing SO2 from flue gas by physical or chemical method.

3.0.2　Gas-Gas heater（GGH）

The device is for heat exchange between two parts of flue gas with different temperatures through heat exchange elements，to reduce the temperature of the raw gas entering the absorber and to increase the temperature of the clean gas entering the stack.

3.0.3　Booster fan

The device is to overcome the resistance of desulphurization system.

3.0.4　Absorber recycle pump

The device provides slurry to absorber spraying header for slurry recycling and spraying in absorber，so that the slurry can contact with the flue gas in countercurrent for reaction and absorbing SO2.

3.0.5　Mill

The device provides limestone slurry with specified fineness from granular limestone.

3.0.6　Hydroclone

The single component separates granular solids with desired size from the slurry，and used to select limestone slurry with specified fineness and condense gypsum slurry.

3.0.7　Vacuum belt filter

The device is to dewater gypsum slurry by vacuum absorption.

3.0.8　Agitator

The mixing device is to keep slurry uniform and prevent slurry from deposition.
