7.2 Storage Days of Raw Materials(Fuels)
7.2.1 The storage days of raw materials(fuels)shall be determined based on various factors such as plant-wide raw material(fuel)demand,transportation methods,transportation distance,geological and meteorological conditions at raw material(fuel)supply site and in plant area,and raw material(fuel)properties,and shall follow the following principles:
a)For large demand,storage days shall be the lesser of the calculated days.
b)For long-distance transportation,storage days shall be the greater of the calculated days.
c)For transportation by railway,storage days shall be the lesser of the calculated days.
d)For transportation by waterway or by combined waterway and road/railway,storage days shall be the greater of the calculated days.
e)For transportation by road,storage days shall be the lesser of the calculated days.
f)For transportation by combined railway and road,storage days may be properly increased.
g)If raw materials(fuels)are not sourced from fixed suppliers,storage days may be properly increased.
h)If supply of raw materials(fuels)is restrained by seasonal interruption of roads or waterway,storage days may be properly increased.
i)If special requirements are proposed for the storage days of raw materials(fuels),the required storage days shall be followed.
7.2.2 Storage days of raw materials(fuels)shall comply with the following requirements:
a)Storage days of commonly used raw materials(fuels)may be selected from Table 6.

b)If raw materials(fuels)are sourced from adjacent mines or suppliers,their storage days should be 2-4 days,and if raw materials(fuels)are delivered to the plant from adjacent plants or stockyards via continuous conveyors,storage facilities may not be provided.
c)Storage days of other bulk,bagged or drummed raw materials may be determined with reference to Table 6 according to the material properties and transportation distance.
