Forest (3.3.2)

As you know, in real life, a forest consists of trees. Likewise, in AD, a forest consists of a collection of trees. Now that you are familiar with the concepts of domain, tree, and forest, it can be concluded that the domain is within the tree domain, that the tree domain is in the forest, and that the forest is a domain too. Isn't this a closed circle? To set up the forest in Windows Server 2016, as with domains and tree domains, use the Active Directory Domain Services Configuration Wizard shown in Figure 4.8:
