3.7　Stability Index（Lyzner Index）

A calculated number used to predict the tendency of precipitation or dissolution of calcium carbonate in water using relatively quantitative method.

Note:Stability index is expressed as the difference between 2 times the theoretically calculated pH when water is in equilibrium with calcium carbonate and the actual pH.
