4.2　Electrical Load

4.2.1　The owner shall provide the designer with the annual electrical load data in both short term and long term of the region where the proposed plant is situated，and the information on load distribution in detail.The electrical load data shall include the following:

1　The annual total electrical load and electricity demand.

2　The annual electrical load of primary，secondary，and tertiary industries and for residential consumption.

3　The detailed information on the existing and future major power consumers，such as the production scale，main products and yield thereof，power consumption，composition and nature of electrical loads，maximum electrical load and utilization hours，and proportion of Class I electrical load.

4.2.2　The available electrical load data shall be rechecked，and that of major power consumers shall be analyzed and verified.

4.2.3　The regional power balance for design target years in both the short term and long term shall be calculated according to the power sources development planning and electrical load data of the region where the proposed plant is situated.If necessary，the energy balance shall be calculated.
