6.7 Radio Access Network Design with HSPA and HSPA+

6.7.1 HSPA may share R99 carrier frequency,or remain independent during networking.

6.7.2 HSPA coverage may be done with specific engineering needs given below:

1 Continuous HSPA coverage area;

2 Partial HSPA coverage area.

6.7.3 HSPA power may be done with specific engineering needs given below:

1 Allocation of HSPA static power resources;

2 Allocation of HSPA dynamic power resources.

6.7.4 HSPA may be upgraded to HSPA+at areas with data traffic concentration.During the initial stage,networking should share the R99 carrier frequency,which should be adjusted according to demands in later stage.

6.7.5 HSPA+may be activated by demand for indoor systems in the initial coverage stage,and should be activated in the way of continuous coverage for outdoor hotspots.
