陕西地理位置优越，地貌丰富多样，资源丰沛，是中华民族及华夏文明的重要发祥地之一，有周、秦、汉、唐等10多个政权或朝代在此建都，留下了无数历史文化遗产。黄帝陵、兵马俑、延安宝塔山、秦岭、华山等是中华文明、中国革命、中华地理的精神标识和自然标识，“看五千年中国到陕西”，是人们对陕西悠久历史和厚重文化的形象描述。

Boasting advantageous location, varied landforms, and rich resources, Shaanxi is an important cradle of the Chinese nation and culture. Over 10 powers and dynasties established their capitals in Shaanxi，including the Zhou, the Qin, the Han, and the Tang Dynasties, leaving behind them countless historical and cultural relics. The Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor，the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Yan'an Pagoda, the Qinling Mountain Range, and Mount Hua are the spiritual and natural symbols of the Chinese civilization, the Chinese revolution, and the Chinese geography.
